 1 ~                                      Opening Day !!!

 5 ~ Tanglewood Acres is featured on RFD TV Best of America

 7 ~ Relive the BOABH experience:  Ride the trail at 1pm, watch the show at 7pm in the campground shelter house.


8-12 Spring Cleaning Week: Bring your dirty truck and trailer, each day we will have a cleaning goal, after the provided lunch we will go for a trail ride. In the evenings there will be music and games to play, just $25, does not include camping fees.  Participants camp 4 nights get the 5th night free.

13 ~ Tack Swap and Sale: Sell extra tack at your site or at the evening auction.  A 10% (auction only) selling fee will go to support the Ohio Horsemens Council,  the organization that works to keep trails open for horseback riders in Ohio and Pike State Forest

19 ~ Karaoke night: Join us for some singing fun Saturday night starting at 7pm.

26 ~ First Barbecue of the Year: Starting it off  right with steak, salads and other side dishes all for just $14 per person. After dinner stay for board games and music.

27~ Cornhole Tournament and more fun with games and music 7pm in the shelter house.




  2~ Wedding Special Barbecue: Featuring Wedding Soup, Ambrosia, and roast pork, Cost $10.

 9~ Trail Ride Bingo: Play for free! Ride the trails then play Bingo with us. Get free Bingo card spaces for each post you pass on the trail,  win fun prizes.

16 ~ Craft a leather key chain for $5: We supply the leather, the leather stamps, paint and metal rings. Precut leather will be available. Now you can have a personalized leather keyfob to keep your trailer keys on.


24 ~ First weekend of Summer!  We will be celebrating with a fun game of Trail Ride Bingo.


3-7 ~ Horsemanship Training Reboot $250 for all five days, includes daily lunch, daily lesson, daily trail ride, and evening talk   time.  Each day you will have a lesson in a different training technique, which you can practice on your own equine. After the lesson lunch will be served, then go for a guided trail ride in beautiful Pike State Forest. Evening join up for talk and possibly more.

4 ~ Hot Dogs and Hamburgers  in the shelter house for $8 in the evening.

7 ~ First Saturday Barbecue ~ Brats, Burgers, and Dogs $8.

14 ~  Join us in the shelter house for board games.

21 ~ Ceramic Painting ~ paint your own ceramic cup or plate $7, cups, plates, and paint provided.  Not an artist? Use a stencil for a great result.
